Bianca Barban
Bianca realised the absolute importance of self-care as a foundation to feeling well, settled and how this then increases the ability to support oneself and others.
Bianca loves supporting people and their body, empowering them with education so they can deepen their own relationship with their body and self-care. She offers quality care, a nurturing and non-imposing presence, ensuring the client receives the specific type of session required, based on years of experience and developed assessment skills in clinical reasoning.
She is sensitive, deeply reflective and aware, yet very practical and grounded in life. She is forever dedicated to her own learning and development and absolutely loves to empower and develop people so they can fully embrace life and enjoy it.
Offering insights to clients from the substance of what she lives, no fluffy airy-fairyness, simply real, practical and established movements of what works in supporting the body and a connection to our own inner awareness and sensitivity makes her the deeply supportive practitioner that she is.
Bianca brings great joy in keeping things light, a fun yet respectful irreverence to life’s many challenges which gives space for a greater perspective on what may be occurring and an awareness of what is needed to precisely address the presenting challenge or issue.
Bianca is married and has 2 children in their late teen years, and when not working enjoys spending time with her family, including her large extended family, and friends. She understands the challenges that present in family life with the changes that occur in relationships, including in a women’s relationship with herself as she ages and the shifting of parenting roles from childhood to young adulthood and the support that is required in the development of those around her at every stage.
Bianca has worked in the health and well-being sphere for the past 25+ years, first as a Registered Nurse, gaining a solid understanding of anatomy and physiology, foundational skills about caring for the body and caring for the person experiencing the symptoms of illness and disease and how this impacted on them physically, spiritually and emotionally including their sense of worth.
Realising that there was much to learn about the outplay of lifestyle choices on health and wellbeing she got inspired to look at her own health and make supportive lifestyle choices to feel more vital, fresh and equipped to meet the challenges of everyday life.
The development of greater levels of self-care deepened her commitment to caring for people and offering them true support along their health journey, which inspired Bianca to study Remedial Massage Therapy so she could work with the everyday person before they were at the end stage of illness and disease. She has worked as a Remedial Massage therapist since 2016 and loves the forever learning aspect required to bring integrity and up to date understandings on how to address the stresses, tensions and ailments clients are presenting with. Bianca’s passion for Remedial Massage has also developed to her working as a Trainer & Assessor of Relaxation and Remedial Massage at a Nationally Accredited RTO.
